Seriosuly, that’s kinda the only reason for posting to this WP account. Sure, I could use Wordply and make something a bit more serious about it, but its a blog designed to be a playpen, a lot looser than my personal site, and not as purposeful as the others I have.

Last night watched this movie called The Final Verdict – or something like that. It was about a Roman soldier who was sent to investigate the Jesus situation and whether there was a truth to it, or just a fable. I liked it, except for the Hollywood romance piece that was thrown in there. Sure, it made a few pieces fit, but it was kinda out of place.

What wasn’t so bad was the critical points that it brought up that affirm and disputed the existence of Jesus, and most defintely the Resurrection and the power of that sect of Judaism called The Way. Brought me back to some things I used to research, and a few more things that I hesitate to keep in mind and heart for various reasons. It is what it is though, faith – reasoned or not, its all faith.

Yep, just keeping this place alive a bit while I wander about my days.

Ok, saw one of the neatest things today; one of the folks at Jaiku, and IntoMobile, posted about starting a site based on 160 character posts. Called the Thumb Report, its simple, and so slick.

Right now, thinking about a new poetry compllation that I intend to start in June. What happens each year is that in June I start a new compliation, but usually start thinking about the goals and the direction that it and my life will take for the next 13 months of writing. It helps to frame my life in this way; and I don’t have the stress of new year resolutions and the like to think about.

Of course, the other part is wondering if this will be the year that all of these compliations finally get published. Its not like they are collecting dust or anything, but I do write a lot.

Source: WikipediaThis is one of those posts that is here as another plaything. I am currently rocking in Firefox 3 Beta 4 and so far liking its performance in terms of the pages with a heavy amount of Javascript in them. Specifically, pages that were slow or nearly unresponsive, like Google Reader, Jaiku, or even WordPress’s posting interface, are not so.

I am also using a web plugin called Zemanta. It takes advantage of some of the semantic aspects of the Internet to help those who are heavy bloggers do more with their posts. So far, I like it. It seems to do a good job finding content. If this can be used more, it will be even better.

So far the only bad thing about Zemanta is that I cannot figure out how to scroll the list of suggestions that it has. Its one thing to tell me that there’s ton to connect to, but I need to see it all ya know :)

Wonder what else I should use here in terms of playing. Maybe I can be like on my personal site and add a bit of QR Code + microformat fun, hehehe

Last real note for this post: I’ve love to see the JS improvements in FF3 made to the microB browser on the Internet Tablets (N800 I have, but the N810 also uses the same browser and operating system). Its amazing the difference some optimization and attention to performance will go in just making a solid browser. the IT really could use that. That and being able to use extensions like Operator, Zemanta, and BlueOrganizer would be just great for such a device.

Well, that and a consistent UI ;)

Wonder how Mobile Ministry Magazine’s Issue 5 would look in a WordPress skin, uhmmm thoughts…

I tend to forget about this blog for one reason or another. Its only a play place though. Maybe I’ll experiemnt with more themes or something. Not really sure, but this sits here, at least for a while, as my means of fun in WP.

Just published my first article for the Tablet UI blog. Kinda neat opportunity to expand my sphere into the UI/UX moreso than just smartphones end of things. Catch a read of this article here.
